The migration tragedy under the sand of Zarzis beach

Marzoug is a 52-year-old fisherman from a Tunisian city near the border with Libya. This volunteer of the Red Crescent offers “eternal rest” to dozens of people who left their lives at sea in search of a chimera.

“When you talk to these young people and ask them why they have risked their lives in the sea, they tell you: I was already dead in my country, they prefer to die in the water than in their land” Marzog explains.      Happy 2018?..
